Supply:  

1, Brazilian pulp mill Suzano announced 2024 May Asian market eucalyptus pulp offer price increase of 30 U.S. / ton, May 1 implementation, overseas suppliers to raise prices willing to strong;  

2, It is reported, Chile Arauco announced in May wood pulp foreign exchange: coniferous pulp Silver Star 820 U.S. / ton, up 40 U.S. / ton; broadleaf pulp Star 740 U.S. / ton, up 30 U.S. / ton; Vernacular pulp Gold Star 690 U.S. / ton;

3, According to foreign news April 29, Chilean pulp maker CMPC said Monday that the company has signed an agreement with Brazil’s southernmost state of Rio Grande do Sul to assess the construction of a new pulp mill there worth 4 billion U.S. dollars. The new project, to be located in the city of BarradoRibeiro, would initially produce 2.5 million metric tons of bleached hardwood sulfate pulp per year.  

Imports:  

China’s coniferous pulp imports in March were 854,000 metric tons, up 13.9% year-on-year.
